Dr. Alisa Sharma specializes in combining manual therapy with corrective exercises that are tailored to an individual’s needs so that they can get back to doing the things they love. She takes the time to thoroughly evaluate and diagnose the source of pain and educates her patients on their injuries. These patient-centered visits provide those in pain with an understanding of their condition and offer guidance to managing the pain on their own to help expedite their recovery.

Alisa Sharma

Born and raised in the PNW, Dr. Sharma attended the University of Washington, where her early interest in the sciences led her to obtain her Bachelor of Science degree in Cellular, Molecular, and Developmental Biology. Her passion for healthcare came about when a loved-one experiencing a debilitating injury finally gained relief after receiving chiropractic care. Dr. Sharma pursued a career as a Chiropractor and graduated with her Doctorate from the University of Western States in Portland, Oregon. Dr. Sharma joined Airrosti’s mission to positively impact the lives of patients soon after. She began her journey as an Airrosti provider in the company’s home base of San Antonio, TX where she enjoyed the sunny weather and hill country before returning to the PNW to be surrounded by mountain tops and views of the water. In her free time, she enjoys travelling with her Fiancé and spending quality time with her family.

Dr. Sharma provides a quality-care approach. She spends significant one-on-one time with every patient, one full hour every visit, to accurately diagnose and resolve the source of your pain. She will educate you on your injury and give you guidance you can use at home to speed your recovery. Her targeted approach leads to rapid recoveries and lasting results, while helping most patients avoid the high costs of imaging, pharmaceuticals, and even surgical procedures.

Growing up as an avid athlete, Dr. Sharma developed a passion for working together as a team to achieve a common goal. As a result, she emphasizes the importance behind working together with her patients to reach their goals. Dr. Sharma strives to incorporate a quality support team of healthcare professionals to provide integrated care, when necessary, to achieve the best outcomes for her patients.

A QUEST FOR KNOWLEDGE

Dr. Sharma grew up participating in various sports, during which she developed a foundational understanding of the importance behind proper movement biomechanics and recovery for optimum performance. She further pursued these interests in Chiropractic school and continues to incorporate functional movement patterns both in the active and everyday lives of her patients. Dr. Sharma continues to expand her clinical knowledge that she applies in practice via continuing education courses throughout the year.
